Thyroid · The first thing to rule out
Fatigue, weight change, low mood and poor sleep often start here — not with peptides.
O que é
The thyroid regulates metabolism. Underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism) is common, especially in women, and its symptoms overlap almost perfectly with the reasons people research peptides and hormones: fatigue, weight gain, low mood, brain fog, cold intolerance. Treatment (levothyroxine) is FDA-approved, cheap and well understood.
Como funciona
A TSH test, with free T4 when needed, identifies most cases. Treatment replaces the missing hormone and is monitored by blood test. Desiccated thyroid and T3 products exist and are a provider's decision; "thyroid support" supplements are not treatment.

Levothyroxine and other thyroid medicines are FDA-approved prescription drugs. This is a general note, not medical advice.
Perguntas frequentes
Why is thyroid on a peptide site?
Because it is the most common thing found when someone with "low energy" is properly evaluated, and it changes what a provider can responsibly consider.
Will the intake test my thyroid?
A provider decides what to order after reviewing you. It is commonly part of a first panel.
Are there thyroid peptides?
Not in any meaningful clinical sense. Marketing that suggests otherwise should be treated with caution.
